Poster presentations offer an excellent opportunity to showcase your work, receive valuable feedback, and connect with leading experts in the field. In addition, a limited number of selected abstracts will be invited to give a 5-minute oral presentation during the meeting.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by our Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of the outcome by the end of September 2026. Conference registration is not required at the time of submission; however, once an abstract is accepted, the presenting author must register for the conference and attend the meeting in person.

Best poster award: Win a Sophion travel grant
The Scientific Committee recognizes the most outstanding poster presentation at each ICMS event. The award honors excellence in scientific research, innovation, and presentation quality.
Posters are evaluated based on the following criteria:
- The background provides an appropriate perspective/context for the subject
- Objectives/research questions are clearly stated
- Research design/methods/modeling is appropriate and transparent
- Data sources and/or sampling procedures are clear and appropriate
- Research objectives are met/addressed
- Factual information is kept separate from interpretations or implications
- The abstract is presented in an unbiased manner
- Clarity of presentation
The winner will be invited by Sophion to present their research at an ICMS event of their choice in the UK, US or Japan next year. Accommodation will be provided, and travel expenses will be covered within specified limits.
Please note: The winner MUST be present in the auditorium when the award recipient is announced.
